In the Ourown Ecosystem, governance is not a top-down enforcement-it is a participatory framework based on trust, contribution, accountability, and documented pathways for evolution. We believe ethical enterprise demands not just compliance but co-ownership. Every unit, Troup, PB, or AOB grows through defined principles, guided mentorship, and ecosystem-level checks that ensure fairness, inclusivity, and performance alignment. Governance here is meant to preserve purpose, scale impact, and empower every contributor to rise through the system while protecting the larger mission.

EDP (Entrepreneurial Development Program)

The EDP is our formalized growth ladder. Every contributor starts from an L0 (foundation) and grows through L9–L1 levels based on performance, documentation, and contribution.

  • CXOs and Directors evolve from Troup and PB roles
  • Mentors and reviewers are part of the O-level advisory
  • Progression is not time-bound but merit-evaluated
  • Every role has clear expectations, peer validation, and an exit protocol
  • EDP makes leadership accountable and growth equitable.

Policies & Frameworks

Every service, onboarding, collaboration, or investment flows through policies that are:

  • Openly documented
  • Designed to prevent misuse
  • Layered with auto-escalation triggers
  • Customizable for body types (PBs, AOBs, etc.)

Acknowledgment of Contributors

We maintain a live, open-access “Wall of Contributors” where:

  • Founders, interns, and mentors are recognized
  • Contributors receive digital badges and system roles
  • Each contribution-small or large-is tracked against deliverables
  • Transparent credits and letters are generated by the system

We believe no one should be forgotten. Work must leave a trace-of impact and appreciation.

Dispute Resolution Process

Conflicts may arise-between members, teams, or partner institutions. We follow a layered resolution structure:

  • Troup-Level Internal Escalation
  • PB/Admin Mediation
  • Ecosystem Review Committee (ERC) Arbitration
  • Legal Advisory (if breach of contract or funds involved)

All escalations are recorded. Most are resolved through guided dialogue and third-party review within the system.

Internal Governance & Progression Rules

From deciding who can form a body to how someone becomes a director or platform owner-our governance map defines the ecosystem’s integrity.

  • Role Progression is based on documented proof-of-work
  • Every AOB/PB must file monthly or quarterly review forms
  • Director appointments are provisional until review cycles
  • Mentor validation and system audits ensure neutrality

This clarity empowers grassroots leaders and protects the ecosystem from ambiguity or misuse.
